A comprehensive introduction designed to give attendees a strong, foundational understanding of key OEM's design features and maintenance best practices for plug, ball and gate block valves on gas or liquid Flow Systems.
An in-depth review of common troubleshooting techniques and procedures used to address most common AOC's found on Block Valves inline and under pressure on gas or liquid flow systems.
Review of advanced valve troubleshooting and isolation procedures to master the competencies and best practices required for delivering complete valve assurity.
An estimated 10% of valves are damaged during storage and installation. Attendees will learn skills designed to reduce damage and extend valve life by reviewing best practices required for valves to operate as designed after install when flow system is pressured up.
Attendees will apply and practice skills learned in either Valve Basics or Valve Troubleshooting
to service or troubleshoot equipment on their own sites. Can also be used as a competency assessment pre or post course.
